So I just found out about this awesome Scholastic Art and Writing Contest and I got really excited. Thousands of people enter from all across the country and you can get recognized on Regional and National Levels!! If you're really REALLY good you can get your art displayed or get a scholarship or something.

So basically, I really want to enter the art thing, even if it's very unlikely that I'll win. Any suggestions of what I should enter? I can enter however many things I want. I'm about to start painting this watercolor of my sister Rosie looking over the edge of the dock and into the water. The way the sun is hitting her makes her skirt look very green and her hair very red. So I kinda have to figure out how exactly I'm gonna paint that...but besides that I want to enter something else. It's judged on technical/precision, originality and the "message."

So.....any ideas??
